　　一般地，y=xα（α為有理數(shù)）的函數(shù)，即以底數(shù)為自變量，冪為因變量，指數(shù)為常數(shù)的函數(shù)稱為冪函數(shù)。例如函數(shù)y=x0、y=x1、y=x2、y=x-1（注：y=x-1=1/x、y=x0時x≠0）等都是冪函數(shù)。在AP微積分課程中，關(guān)于冪函數(shù)的應用也是非常常見的，下面A加未來小編就帶大家一起來分析一下這一重要的AP微積分考點，希望對大家有所幫助。

 

　　1.Power Functions冪函數(shù)y=xμ(μis a constant)

 

　　(1)Whenμ=n(where n is a positive integer)

 

　　When n is even，the function is also an even function(偶函數(shù));

 

　　When n is odd，the function is also an odd function(奇函數(shù));

 

 

　　(2)Whenμ=(where n is a positive integer)

 

　　When n is even，the domain of the function is(0，+∞);

 

　　When n is odd，the domain of the function is(-∞，+∞);

　　2.Polynomial Functions多項式函數(shù)

 

　　多個冪函數(shù)進行加減乘運算即得到多項式函數(shù)，記為：

 

　　f(x)=a0xn+a1xn-1+a2xn-2+…+an-1x+an(n is a positive integer or zero)

 

　　n=1，linear function(一次函數(shù))，f(x)=kx+b(k≠0)

 

　　n=2，quadratic function(二次函數(shù))，f(x)=ax2+bx+c(a≠0)

 

　　n=3，cubic function(三次函數(shù))，f(x)=ax3+bx2+cx+d(a≠0)

 

　　3.Rational Functions有理函數(shù)

 

　　二個多項式函數(shù)進行除運算即得到Rational function，記為：

 

　　f(x)=(Q(x)≠0)[P(x)and Q(x)are polynomial functions]
