在學(xué)習(xí)ICCSE閱讀做題技巧的前提，我們需要學(xué)習(xí)下如何做到真正的閱讀。
 

To save you wondering too much, the answer to the question is that the interesting readings are those who have not just recognised the words but are attempting to gain a complete understanding of what the writer’s intended meaning is .

     By doing this they are able to put much more expression into their reading. Reading without understanding is pointless.
 

我們想要真正的閱讀文章，不能只是識別單詞的意思，更要嘗試對作者的原本意思有一個完全的理解。這樣，我們才能更深入的理解文章。沒有理解的閱讀是沒有意義的。
 

Comprehension is a word that means‘understanding’ and questions in English examinations that test your understanding are known as ‘ comprehension questions’.

     They can take a variety of forms and can be based on a wide range of passages of varying difficulty. The main purpose of all comprehension questions is to test how thoroughly you have understood what you have read.

 

Comprehension 這個詞的意思意味著理解。衡量你理解的英文考試中的問題被稱作‘ comprehension questions’.這些問題會以各種形式出題，基于不同的難度的各種文章。所有這些問題的主要目的是去檢測你對于讀過的問題有多深的理解。
 

 
 

IGCSE閱讀題，我們可以先調(diào)動自己的skimming閱讀技巧，來把文章大概講的內(nèi)容有個概括的掌握。其次，是很重要的審題，畫Key words。之后我們可以調(diào)動scanning的閱讀技巧，在原文中找到對應(yīng)題干關(guān)鍵詞的內(nèi)容，分析作答。
 

Skimming means reading quickly through a passage in order to gain a clear , overall view of what it is about.
 

Key words: 關(guān)鍵詞指的意思是能夠幫助我們在原文中找到定位的詞，一般特征是不容易改變，鮮明。比如，大寫字母，時間，地點，專有名詞.
 

Scanning is a refinement of this approach, as it means you are reading in order to extract specific details which are relevant to the questions that you are required to answer.

 

在GCSE閱讀中，有一部分題是Short answer questions, they are straightforward. They require brief , factual answers to show that you have understood a particular piece of information in your own words.

     短問答題，一般都是很直接的給答案。需要很簡短，從文章中找到事實證據(jù)來展示你理解了文章相關(guān)信息，并且需要自己同義替換，不能用原詞作答。

 

這類題一般有以下兩種：

1. Questions which contain instructions such as ‘give two reasons’ require straightforward retrieval of details from the passage .

(包含一些指令，如給兩個原因解釋，需要直接從原文種提取細節(jié)作答)
 

2. Questions which ask you to ‘Explain’ something, such as the writer’s opinions. Require you not only to say what the opinions are but also to make some comment about them in your own words.

(需要你解釋一些事情，比如解釋作者的觀點。不僅要知道作者的觀點，而且還有對此做出評論。要用自己的話同義替換）
