留學生一定要掌握的地道英文高級句式

 

對于留學的小伙伴們而言，學好英語通向異國的渠道，也是在他鄉(xiāng)站住腳的保障。而寫作在英語學習中占據舉足輕重的地位。因此，今天我為大家安利一些英語寫作干貨。

我們以英語寫作中常見的議論文（對事物進行評價類）為例，從各個方面為小伙伴們總結了地道而高level的句型。
 
1. With XX, YY is increasingly being seen as a serious issue / top concern.
 
Eg.With millions of households across the country struggling to have enough to eat, therefore, food waste is increasingly being seen as a serious environmental and economic issue.
 
全國有數百萬家庭吃不飽，因此，食物浪費愈加成為一個嚴重的環(huán)境和經濟問題。
 
2......... has worked as designed, but it has also generated numerous unintended consequences.
 
Eg. Social media has certainly worked as designed, making conversation easier and more efficient, but it has also generated numerous unintended consequences, from loneliness to misinformation.
 
社交媒體的確如預期中那樣發(fā)揮了作用，使交流更加簡便、有效，但也帶來很多意料之外的問題，比如孤獨感和虛假信息。

 
 
3.Concerns over... are overblown.
 
Eg.People are worried that online courses make interaction and cooperation more difficult. But those concerns are overblown. With the high-speed internet coming, online education has the potential to provide a much broader array of courses for people of all walks of life around the world.
 
人們擔心線上課程使互動和合作變得更難，但這些擔憂有點夸張了。隨著高速網絡到來，線上教育有潛力為世界各地、社會各界的群體提供更廣泛的課程。
 
4. X and Y are describing the same peak, just from opposite sides of the mountain.
 
Eg.Actually, they are describing the same peak, just from opposite sides of the mountain. AI will eliminate many low-skilled jobs, but at the same time, it will create more highly-skilled ones.
 
實際上，他們描述的是一座山峰，只是角度不同。人工智能會消滅很多低技能工作，但同時，也會創(chuàng)造更多高技能崗位。
 

 
5. Hopes for... appear wildly optimistic.
 
Eg.There will be no moment when countries will be able to declare victory over the COVID, thus, it is concluded that hopes for the use of its vaccine appear wildly optimistic.
 
各國宣布戰(zhàn)勝新冠病毒的時間遙遙無期，因此，我們可總結為對于新冠疫苗的使用，希望似乎過于樂觀。
