What’s the difference of xx？在雅思口語題中如何回答?

 

在雅思第三趴部分，經(jīng)常會問到的問題就是What’s the difference of xx…

 

 

 

其實對于這種詢問不同的雅思問題，最直接的回答方法就是分類，是的，分情況討論是說每個人在不同情況下，所得出的結論都不盡相同，大部分同學在這里失分的原因不外乎太過于泛泛，或者太籠統(tǒng)，那么解決這個問題最好的辦法就是具有針對性，細化每一個結果。

 

在這里我們將對difference類型分成幾個不同的方面進行探討，其中包括時間不同，年齡不同，性別不同進行分別舉例，今天我們主要對時間不同進行解析

 

Time Difference時間不同

針對此類的時間差異，考官一般會具體提問,比如：
 

1.“What’s the difference of xx in the past and now”

 

2.“What’s the difference of xx nowadays and in the future”

不難發(fā)現(xiàn)這部分是在比較過去和現(xiàn)在的不同？ 
 

具體雅思問題可能會出現(xiàn)：
 

想在你的國家的人們比以前更富有嗎？
 

以前的人生活方式比現(xiàn)在更健康嗎？
 

仔細審題，可以找到題眼是在強調(diào)，收入，生活方式等
 

針對這一類雅思問題，解決方法三部曲： 
 

第一部：細化時間軸

考官沒有對具體時間進行細化，那就需要我們自己構建時間軸，細化時間
 

例如：

What’s the difference of houses nowadays and in the past?

 

Past: 20 years ago= two decades ago/ in my parents’ generation/ in the 1960s or 70s.

 

Future: 10 years from now/ in 25 years/ in the foreseeable future(可預見的未來) / in the near future.

 

  
 

第二部：細化討論內(nèi)容

對于雅思內(nèi)容進行分類討論，可以用論述性句子和實例進行搭配使用；在這里總結一些常用的原因可以在各種問題中去套用:
 

1.the development of modern technology,  particularly the Internet 技術發(fā)展
 

2.globalization 全球化進程
 

3.development of economy 經(jīng)濟發(fā)展(家庭條件變化)
 

而對于未來而言，除了不久的未來，我們也可以適當?shù)拈_開腦洞，比如加入外太空探索，等等，畢竟未來誰有能知道會發(fā)展到什么程度呢，所以適當?shù)哪X洞，反而會提高考官對你所述內(nèi)容的興趣，有利于拿高分

 

第三部：總結

 

下面我看看一個例子
 

中國家庭生活和以前比，有什么差別？

Has the family life in China changed?
 

拆分1:More than a decade ago, family education was quite straightforward and traditional because parents were mostly tied up with (和…有密切聯(lián)系) their work or business.

 

拆分2:entering the 21 century, more and more females choose to stay at home and dedicate to (把時間花在, 致力于) taking care of the family, that is, to work as a housewife

 

Sample：

Yeah, sure. There were a whole lot of (許許多多的) differences in terms of family life in our country.

 

The biggest difference I guess lies in the way people bring up their kids. More than a decade ago, family education was quite straightforward and traditional because parents were mostly tied up with (和…有密切聯(lián)系) their work or business.

 

However, entering the 21 century, more and more females choose to stay at home and dedicate to (把時間花在, 致力于) taking care of the family, that is, to work as a housewife. It turned out that about 80% of family activity are centered around (以..為中心) kids once they have one. I guess this is a result of a surplus (富足) in wealth and the increase competition in the next generation.
