語言性測試，大家最熟悉的可能就是托福和雅思了，托福和雅思的分數可以互相轉換，部分院校接受換分，但是要求也會提高，因此，如果想去英聯邦國家留學，托福代替雅思不是最好的選擇。

考試介紹
Cambridge O-level考試是Cambridge Upper Secondary (14 to 16 years old) 里面的三大考試局之一，另外兩個是大家都很熟悉的Cambridge IGCSE和Cambridge ICE Certificate。
成績認可的院校
O Level English Language 適用于英國大部分學校。目前除了劍橋和LSE不能替代英語語言成績外，其余學校對于O Level語言成績的要求最高為B，具體來講：O Level要求：牛津要求為B，帝國理工部分專業(yè)要求為B，其余大部分學校的大部分專業(yè)要求為C。
適合的學生群體
1. 公立學校學生，計劃轉國際學校的學生，因為閱讀和寫作能力偏高，聽力口語能力偏低，可以選擇捷徑助自己一臂之力
2. 離出國讀書還有至少一年的學生可以嘗試參加考試，自己多一個機會
3. 對于中文語言能力偏強的學生，考試會更加容易理解和上手更可能出現高分
考試形式和內容
與雅思相比，O Level英語考試只考察閱讀和寫作兩個技能，每年的2次考試時間：5月和10月。閱讀、寫作各占50%測成績。

Your best friend is a popular person at school and is very successful both inside and outside the classroom. Your friend is leaving the school to move overseas. Your teacher, Mr Johnson, asks you to make a speech to your classmates on the last day of term wishing your friend goodbye and good luck.
